How It Works...

The sites that give away these free gifts, what’s in it for them?

Every time a person comes to their site and completes one of the offers, they get paid by the company. They use this money to pay for your free gift. But they still have enough left over for profit.

No, it doesn’t, that’s why you have to refer people before you are eligible for a free gift. Thus, why more expensive items need more referrals. (Your referrals must do an offer as well, when they do, they will turn green)

Say you get a free iPod worth $300 and you got 5 referrals. When you signed up and completed an offer, they will have got paid ~$60. The same with each of your 5 referrals. ~$60 + ~$60 + ~$60 + ~$60 + ~$60 = $300. Add them together and you get $360. This will pay for your iPod and they will still have $60 profit left over. (Each advertiser pays the site ~$30 - ~$70 each person).

Note: These are rough estimates; the sites won’t be able to use the money you made them from doing your offer if you have been referred by someone else. But this does not affect you; there is NO HARM at all, if you are someone’s referral. It just means you are helping them out.

Surely this doesn't cover the cost of the gift...

Here is an example of how it all works...
